Reservation
I’m interested in staying at VicHaus, how can I book a room?
Please enquire about availability by writing to us here. We will get in touch with you at the earliest possible time and assist you from there. Our customer service ambassador will connect with you via email and/or WhatsApp (usually within 3 working days) and guide you through the process.
How long do I have to stay for?
As we are a service apartment, guests are required to stay for a minimum of 6 nights.
What age is considered as a Child?
At our place, persons that are 7 years old and below at the point of check in are considered as a Child. Persons that are 8 years old and above are considered as an Adult.
I’ll be staying for at least a month, are there any special rates available?
For guests with at least 30 nights of staythrough, we do have special rates for you. Please contact us for a quotation.
Is security deposit needed?
For reservations under 3 months, we will require a refundable SGD $500 Security Deposit upon check in. For reservations above 3 months, our customer service ambassador will furnish you with the deposit rate. The security deposit will be collected by a Credit Card Authorization at the counter unless a contract has been signed (for reservations that are 3 months and above).
Please note that the authorization will automatically lapse within 14 – 30 days after your end of stay, if no extra costs have been incurred throughout your stay. You will be informed if we have to deduct from the security deposit. Should there be any issues with the security deposit, kindly contact us.
Are there any agent fees to be paid?
No agent fees are needed.
How much do I have to pay to confirm my reservation?
Please note that full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Security deposit will only be collected upon check in.
For reservations that are 3 months and above, we will provide you with the amount that needs to be paid upfront to confirm your reservation.
How can I make payment?
We accept all major credit or debit cards, PAYNOW, NETS, SG QR, bank transfer, cash or cheque. For credit cards, please note that you will have to sign a Letter of Authorization.
What is the cancellation policy?

Check In
What are the check-in and check-out times?
You can check-in anytime from 2PM onwards and check-out any time before 11AM. Late check-out or early check-in will incur additional charges and is subjected to room availability. For check-in later than 6PM, please kindly contact us.
What modes of payment are accepted for the security deposit?
For the security deposit, we only accept credit card authorizations unless a contract has been signed.
Getting There
What public transport are in the vicinity?
We currently have several bus stops in our vicinity. Bus stop 92189 (Opp I12 Katong) is right on our doorstop and will bring you to Bedok Interchange while the opposite Bus stop 92181 (i12 Katong) bring you to downtown area like Suntec City, Orchard Road before ending its destination at Bukit Merah Interchange.
The Marine Parade MRT Station (TE26) along the Thomson-East Coast line (TEL) is a 3 minutes’ walk from VicHaus.
How can we get to VicHaus from Changi Airport?
We are located at 525 Joo Chiat Road, Singapore 427705. Via taxi, it will take an estimated 20 minutes to reach VicHaus. Alternatively, you can take bus number 36 from Bus Stop 95019 (Changi Airport Passenger Terminal Building 2 Bus Terminal), alight at Bus Stop 92049 (Parkway Parade) and walk about 240m towards Joo Chiat Road to reach us.
Services and Amenities
How often is housekeeping done?
For rooms with shared kitchenette, the kitchenette will be cleaned on a daily basis. Full housekeeping will be done on a weekly basis. For the comfort of our guests, we will also arrange for a light housekeeping (no change of linens) every week. Housekeeping will be scheduled accordingly:
- Weekdays (9AM – 6PM)
- Saturday (9AM – 2PM)
- No housekeeping on Sunday.
- If housekeeping falls on a public holiday, we will reschedule it.
Additional housekeeping is available at a nominal fee. Please approach our customer service ambassador for more information.
Are there laundry services?
There are token-operated washing machines and dryer in the shared laundry area for your use. Please note that there are no washing machine and dryer in rooms.
Ironing boards, irons and steamer are free of charge for you to use.
Can I cook in VicHaus?
Yes, basic cooking utensils, microwave and portable induction hob are provided in the kitchenette. However, we kindly request that you limit your cooking to light dishes, in order to minimize odours produced and to maintain a pleasant environment for all.
Is WiFi provided?
Yes, guests can enjoy free WiFi.
Can we scan and print documents?
Please approach our staff at the front desk counter during office hours and we can scan your documents free of charge. Print-outs and photocopies are chargeable, you may check with our customer service ambassador for the price list.
How do I book the BBQ Pit?
Please contact our customer servive ambassador for details on how to book. Kindly note that each BBQ booking can have a maximum of 8 people.
Can I park in VicHaus?
The car park lots will be distributed on a first come first serve basis and subject to approval. If you are driving a vehicle, please seek approval here. Unregistered vehicles will be wheel-clamped and owners will be charged a fee for release.
For guests who have yet to commence their stay with us, please feel free to contact us to enquire about the carpark’s availability.
Others
Can I have visitors?
Yes, visitors are allowed. A maximum of 5 visitors are allowed at any one time. For security reasons, please register all visitors here.
Unregistered persons will be asked to leave and kindly note that no staying over is allowed. All visitors are requested to leave by 11pm.
What is Quiet Hours?
Quiet Hours are designated times which guests are expected to keep noise levels down in order to maintain a peaceful and conducive environment for rest.
VicHaus Quiet Hours is from 11pm to 7am daily.
Can I bring pets?
No, unfortunately we do not allow pets on the premise except for Singapore Animal & Veterinary Service Issued Licensed Assistance Dog. Please kindly contact us to share your furkid’s license detail before your stay commences.
Can I smoke on the property?
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, except for a designated area in our courtyard. If found smoking outside of the designated area, you will be charged up to SGD 1000 for cleaning fees.
I have confirmed my booking.
Where can I find more information?
We are looking forward to meeting you! All guests will receive a digital booklet in their email upon booking confirmation. The booklet contains useful information about the premises, and we recommend that guests download and read the booklet before/upon their arrival.
